My name is Mariah Rose.
Basically, I love minions and clothes and the beach and Tangled and Jesus and Lana and SunniBunni and cake pops and dancing and writing.
That's what I would share with someone who didn't know me. That's what the people who do know me have learned. That's what I know about myself.
Understanding myself on a deeper level is something that rarely happens in a way that makes sense. Other than God, only a select few know me as well as I know myself. If I tried to explain it to just anyone, I would be a confused mess of laughter, lipstick, and tears. The simplest way for me to understand, well, me, is by stating what I know, what I don't know, and what I'd like to know. By doing that, I somehow get a jumbled collection of poetry and short stories.
If I know anything, it's that life likes to send us through a lot of hell. It's up to us to determine whether or not we're happy. Even when we feel like there's nothing that could possibly help us change our panic stricken eyes into ones full of peace, there is something there. For me, it has always been my writing. That's not to say that I know where my life is going or even that I know where I want my life to go, but I know that my words can take me there.
This world is full of people that say no. Everyone knows that the people who tell us we can't are the people we remember for the rest of our lives. The negativity is easy to pass off with a simple inspiration quote from a meme, but it starts to add up sooner or later. The only way to fight off negativity is with confidence. On my lifelong search for confidence, I hope to inspire others. I want people to find themselves in the midst of their pain and learn how to keep faith. I want the lost ones to find their weapon and I want to teach the ones with doubt how to use it. I hope to do that through what I write.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to figure me out and thank you to everyone who has stayed along for the ride after that. It's the support that has helped inspire me to be confident and follow my dreams. I heard a quote once that went, "If you dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough." I intend to scare myself more everyday; Don't be afraid to scare yourself too.
XOXO

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
